Children's Birthday Parties
Enjoy a private children's party at the Zoo with your guests! Party packages are
for children turning 4 to 11 and include:
- Conservation Station decorated with games and activities.
- Admission for 15 party goers w/ 3 adults (Zoo requires 1adult per 5 children)
- Zoo Invitations
- Party Supplies (plates, utensils, cups, napkins and tablecloth)
- Party favor for each of the children
- Gift Certificate for the birthday child
- Animal talk in front of exhibit (Choose one: Elephant, Orangutan or Alligator)
Room decorations are not supplied. Balloons, banners, etc. are acceptable and may
be brought in 15 minutes prior to party start time.

Fees
Package for 15 children:
$190 for Friends of the Zoo members
includes $25 deposit for clean-up**
$205 for non-members
includes $25 deposit for clean-up**
Each additional child = $8
Maximum number of children per party is 20
Extra: Animal encounter in classroom $25 (Education Staff will bring an animal into
the classroom for 15 minute discussion.)
Total party time at the Zoo one and a half hours.
Non-refundable deposit of $75 required within five working days of making reservation.
Party must be paid in full three weeks prior to party to avoid cancellation (If
cancellation occurs within two weeks of party, no refund is given.)
Staying nonmember adults and non-participating siblings must pay Zoo admission.
If parents and children wish to tour the Zoo before or after the party, please be
advised they must pay Zoo admission
*Birthday parties are only offered Monday through Friday, from September to May only.
**A staff member will meet you prior to the party for a room inspection. Once the
party has ended a staff person will again inspect room and equipment with you. If
clean-up is excessive or items are damaged, the clean-up deposit will be retained.
These items and conditions require customer’s signature.
