Join us for a summer filled with festivities every
Thursday from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. and special 50th
celebration events! All funds raised at the Summer
Zoobilee will go toward funding
the zoo’s animal medical clinic.
- July 26 to August 1 - Siamang Week
- Activities throughout the week will be held at the Siamang Exhibit.
Monday, July 26: Keeper Talk, 11 am
Tuesday, July 27: Keeper Talk, 11 am
Wednesday, July 28: Keeper Talk, 11 am
Thursday, July 29: Our Siamang, Oscar is 19 years old! 11 am, Keeper Talk;
followed by cupcakes for Oscar at Noon!
Friday, July 30: Conservation of Siamangs discussion, 11 am.
Saturday, July 31: Keeper Talk, 11 am.
Sunday, August 1: Keeper Talk, 11 am.

Sippin' Safari
September 10, 2010

This annual fund raiser, brought to you by BI-LO Charities, occurs annually in
September. Enjoy beer, wine, hors d'oeuvres and a Silent Auction. All proceeds
benefit the zoo education programs.

Boo in the Zoo
Members Only:

Join us for a safe, non-scary event for kids 12 & under. Adults can come in
costume too! The 2009 event was Oct. 17-20.

The Greenville Zoo will challenge the intelligence of its animals and entice them with a fun, interactive environment during the zoo’s first annual Enrichment Day, held on April 3 in 2010.

The Greenville Zoo is partnering with local agencies and civic groups to help create awareness about animal conservation and educate the community about ways to become more environmental-friendly at its annual Conservation Day on Saturday, May 1, from 10 am to 3 pm.

Join us for this annual summer event at the Zoo! Enjoy hot dogs, chips, ice cream and Pepsi - all for 25 cents each!!
Education Events
World Oceans Day: 10 am to 2 pm, Tuesday, June 8, 2010
From rivers to streams, lakes to ponds and on to the deep blue Sea. Dive in and have some fun while learning about the water that surrounds us.
The Greenville Zoo will host discussions on water conservation and preservation. Hand outs will be available with activity guides, tattoos, bookmarks, and face painting.

Annually, from September through May
Do you have questions about elephants, giraffes, orangutans, spider monkeys,
snakes and toucans? On Tuesdays from September through May, you'll find an
instructor at select exhibits ready to answer your questions, at 10:30 am and
12:30 pm every Tuesday!
